XMPie introduces event and data-driven automation to 1:1 multichannel campaigns through its Circle campaign planning and management solution.

NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2013 – XMPie®, A Xerox Company, a leading provider of software for Individualized Communications Management (ICM) and pioneer in software for 1:1 cross media communications, announces Campaign Automation as a new a capability of its Circle™ SaaS offering – a 2013 MUST SEE ‘EM recipient in the Variable, Transactional and Multi-Channel solutions category.

Since its launch at drupa 2012, Circle proved itself as a breakthrough tool for comprehending what 1:1 multichannel communications campaigns are all about. Being a “Canvas in the Cloud,” Circle allows all stakeholders of a multichannel campaign to share information; plan and review the campaign flow; easily see mockups and real proofs of personalized content; collaborate on the campaign creation and deployment phases; and even monitor analytics results.

“Circle enables us to ‘visually articulate’ our ideas and solutions and has assisted us to achieve much greater customer understanding of our concepts and strategies,” said Graham Reed, New Business Director at Varia Solutions, and a Circle power user. “Without a doubt, this is the best engagement tool on the market for demonstrating full digital cross-media and print solutions.”

With Campaign Automation, XMPie expands Circle to become an automation dashboard that allows scheduling of activities in a campaign at given times, with recurrence patterns, and to populations that are selected by CRM data and individuals’ behaviors in the current or, even, previous campaigns.

An immediate basic value that Campaign Automation delivers is cost effectiveness – saving staff extra hours that are otherwise needed to launch activities outside of normal working hours. Much higher value stems from the ability to schedule activities to selected audiences that are defined by CRM data and by individuals’ behavior in a specific campaign of even in previous campaigns. For example, sending an email to individuals who did not visit their PURL within three days of receiving a postcard, and for whom there is a valid email address, is a simple capability enabled by Campaign Automation. Such conditional scheduling allows a Circle customer to offer multichannel campaigns of much higher value and, through that, create much improved and committed business relationships with their customers.

“Circle with Campaign Automation is a powerful and flexible on-ramp for PSPs and MSPs to the highly attractive realm of marketing automation,” said Judy Berlin, vice president of XMPie. “The integration of digital and print media with data, intelligent scheduling of activities, and on-line analytics monitoring will help cross-media providers meet their customers demanding digital marketing needs.”

Circle is currently available in two editions: Personal (free) and Team (premium). Campaign Automation will be made available through a new and additional “Business Edition.” At PRINT 13, XMPie will be offering a launch special that will allow existing or new PersonalEffect server-class customers, who are current on their maintenance contract, to enjoy the benefits of the new Business Edition by subscribing to the Team edition. All editions will be demonstrated in Xerox booth No. 1202 at PRINT 13, Sept. 8-12 in Chicago.
