Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has announced the introduction of SAFEQ Cloud, to further support the growing number of organisations wanting to reap the productivity, operational, and cost benefits of a cloud-first print strategy.

SAFEQ Cloud makes printing from any device quick and easy, whilst eliminating the need for print servers and their associated costs. It includes a new Multi-Vendor Scanning feature that enables productivity to be increased with simple one-touch scan to email or cloud repositories, utilising OCR technology and metadata searchability.

SAFEQ Cloud benefits from being in a hosted AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment located in the UK. SAFEQ Cloud is all about user protection, trust, and logical access control. Infrastructure security elements include policy-based authentication controls, a least privilege access model, a zero-trust approach, secure network traffic for metadata and print jobs going to the cloud, and compliance with ISO 27001, CCM, CAIQ and more.

By offering SAFEQ Cloud (from Konica Minolta’s strategic partner Y Soft which acquired EveryonePrint in 2022), Konica Minolta is replacing Dispatcher Paragon Cloud and EveryonePrint HCP while streamlining its cloud print portfolio. This will consist of SAFEQ Cloud, PaperCut Hive and the Workplace Pure cloud services platform that includes cloud print, document translation, document conversion, direct upload to cloud repositories etc. Together, this comprehensive portfolio provides organisations with everything they need to support hybrid working and reap the productivity, operational, and cost benefits of a cloud-first print strategy.

“With Konica Minolta, customers have a holistic digital workplace partner at their side. Through our portfolio of services and solutions, we can support all our customers at every stage of their cloud journey, enabling them to realize the substantial operational, management and cost benefits that cloud print and cloud document services deliver. We are pleased to add SafeQ Cloud to our cloud print portfolio which will enable us to streamline our portfolio and deliver transformative features to our customers.”
