By Carl Schell, Keypoint Intelligence: The first month of 2024 is nearly over. Crazy. But before we hit February, let’s take a quick look at where some of the opportunities lie for dealers over this year in the print industry and beyond.

I’d like to stress the final two words in the paragraph above a little more here. It’s not that print is dead, but let’s be real: This harkens back to 2020 when “diversification” reentered dealers’ vocabulary in earnest because print volumes were drastically reduced—in some parts of the world more than others, obviously. Anyway, what we’re seeing in our channel research and what we’re hearing during interviews with dealers is that the time is now for “and beyond.”

Artificial intelligence (AI). Digital transformation (DX). Managed IT services (MITS). You knew those were coming. The future has arrived.
