Andy and Julie Plata will be honored at this year’s event. Their OutputLinks Communications Group serves the global corporate communications industry. As leaders in the field, with combined experience of more than 50 years, Andy and Julie Plata have served as advisors to many of the world’s major companies. In 2011, the Platas purchased American Printer, a 130+ year-old industry trade magazine. Historic issues of this publication form a substantial part of the Museum’s collections. The Platas brought American Printer into the 21st Century by converting it to an individualized “B2Me” format. Their dedication to advancing printing in the digital age continues to be an inspiration to the entire field.
