Xerox Corp. is moving its sales training and technical training operations from Virginia to its Webster campus.

The Xerox Technology Learning and Development Center will relocate to the Gil Hatch Center for Customer Innovation in Webster. Currently, the company does training work at its former Xerox Document University space, now known as The National Conference Center. Xerox sold that Leesburg, Virginia, site in 2000, and now leases space there.

The relocation is to happen by early 2015.

According to Xerox, there will be no immediate job effect locally, as some Leesburg workers will move to other Virginia office space and will travel when needed to Webster. But the company said the center could bring as many as 1,000 Xerox employees and others annually to Webster for training.
