The ecoSummit 2023, hosted by ecoprintQ, recently concluded at the stunning Long Boat Key Club in Sarasota, FL. This influential gathering of office equipment and technology resellers, vendors and manufacturers was a great success, fostering growth, partnerships and forward-thinking in the print management industry.

The event kicked off on Monday, May 22 with a warm welcome reception sponsored by PaperCut. Attendees had a chance to mingle, exchange ideas and gear up for the following days filled with insight and inspiration. There may have even been a little karaoke involved.

On Tuesday, May 23, ecoprintQ’s VP of Sales and Marketing, Dominick Bracero, along with co-founder Alfredo Milanes, opened the general session with a welcoming address. Their speeches underscored ecoprintQ’s commitment to the sector and set the tone for the rest of the conference.

Following the general session, ecoprintQ partner PaperCut took center stage. CEO Chris Dance flew in from Australia to present the company’s strategy and future direction with Dave Farrell, Head of Global GtM. The presentation, lasting about 40 minutes, gave attendees an inside look at the cutting-edge thought processes that keep PaperCut at the forefront of our industry.

Several more speakers and a panel came next providing a detailed review of the PaperCut futyre roadmap, Q&A and an overview of the ecoValue program and the ecoPartner portal, spotlighting ecoprintQ’s commitment to continuous innovation.

Post-lunch, the floor was opened for a highly interactive session where dealers and vendors sat together, addressing the key areas for improvement in an open and collaborative environment.

The level of engagement was indicative of the shared commitment to progress within the industry.

The afternoon rounded off with enlightening presentations from more event sponsors, followed by a much-deserved relaxation session involving choices of Yoga and Pickleball at the resort.

The day concluded with a memorable awards dinner where dealer partners, including DEX Imaging, Marco, TGI Office and many others, were recognized. Other honored partners included PaperCut and Ricoh, a testament to the invaluable relationships cultivated in this network.

The final day of the summit started with a riveting presentation from Rawldon Weekes of Elatec RFID. He shared insights about the Elatec dealer program and the exciting new projects they are currently developing.

Following this, attendees split into sales and service tracks for a deeper dive into industry updates and educational sessions.

After a morning filled with enriching discussions, it was time to unwind. The event closed with an afternoon dedicated to golfing, ziplining, boating and a local museum tour, rounding off the summit on a high note.

In essence, ecoSummit 2023 not only highlighted their partners’ valuable contributions but also provided a platform for shared learning, growth and advancement in the print management industry.
