On April 9th, 2024, the USPS filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission for recommended price changes. If approved, these changes are scheduled to take affect on July 14th, 2024. Included in the proposed rates is a 5-cent increase in the cost of First-Class Mail Forever stamp.

The proposed adjustments, which have been approved by the governors of the Postal Service, would raise mailing service prices approximately 7.8%.
