  1. Pacific Office Automation (POA) expanded its presence in Idaho by acquiring Fenton’s Office Solutions (FOS), a Konica Minolta and Epson family dealer. The acquisition allows POA to extend its Konica Minolta footprint into three new markets in Southeastern Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.
  2. Canon U.S.A. announced new executive appointments, promoting Mason Olds to Executive Vice President of the Business Information Communications Group and the Executive Committee of Canon Americas. Olds will also lead the Large Format Systems team.
  3. Ricoh USA’s Senior Director of Dealer and Partner Marketing, Jen Healy, discussed the company’s new turnkey marketing program and recent road show with Industry Analysts’ Andy Slawetsky. The program includes e-commerce capabilities through a partnership with Keypoint Intelligence and their Uverce e-commerce solution.
  4. Toshiba America Business Solutions promoted its president of Toshiba Business Solutions, Steven Sauer, to the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Sauer, a 28-year industry veteran, will be responsible for increasing revenue and profitability through the company’s direct and indirect sales channels in the United States.
  5. Canon U.S.A. introduced the imagePROGRAF TC-20M, the industry’s first sub-$1,000, 24-inch large-format printer with a built-in flatbed scanner. The 4-color, desktop pigment printer is designed for users of all levels and types, allowing them to easily produce posters, signs, and other large print materials.
