SCHAUMBURG, IL and MERRILLVILLE, IN, ISSUED March 28, 2024…Pulse Technology (https://pulsetechnology.com), a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has named Kouren Stepp of Mundelein, IL to the position of IT Engineer.
In this role, he will support clients who use Pulse Technology’s Managed IT services. Managed Networks (IT) is an increasingly large part of the Pulse Technology offerings.
Prior to joining the Pulse team, he worked in a similar capacity for another area Managed Service Provider in Mundelein as an IT engineer. Prior to that, he was a Service Desk Core Engineer at a technology firm in Lake Forest, IL. He got his start in technology working in copiers and printers, and transitioned from copiers and printers into IT.
Stepp will work from Pulse Technology’s Schaumburg IL headquarters and service clients throughout Illinois. He said, “It was a good transition from working on copiers and printers and how they integrate with technology, and it led me to going full force into IT. He holds a number of industry certifications, including Comp TIA A+, and certifications from a number of software vendors including PaperCut, Acronis, Printer Logic, and also certifications from manufacturers such as Konica Minolta, Kyocera, HP, and Ricoh.
The married father of three enjoys learning about 3D printing, spending time with his family, and cheering for the Chicago Bulls.
