Xerox announced on November 26 the appointment of Michael Bowers as president of Xerox Federal Solutions.

Bowers has more than 26 years of federal government experience. He joins Xerox after serving as chief operating officer at INDUS Corp. Bowers has led business units for the federal, civil and health agency information technology and business process outsourcing markets, including DHS, the Department of Education, the Internal Revenue Service, Environmental Protection Agency, among other civil agencies.

As president of Xerox Federal Solutions, Bowers will focus on the more than 25 federal agencies that Xerox serves to meet their business process and information technology needs.

Bowers reports to David Amoriell, vice president and chief operating officer, government and transportation sector at Xerox.

“Mike has a superior track record of implementing business development processes in the government sector,” said Amoriell. “He understands the nuances of working with federal agencies and the unique challenges they face.”
