Four people are arrested and one is being sought in connection with a toner cartridge scam that bilked the Xerox Corporation out of $7.2 million, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced Tuesday.
Xerox requested authorities look into the activities of authorized reseller, RBM Imaging and its owner, Robert Lee Fisher, 75. As an authorized reseller, he provided toner and other services to his customers based on copy machine service contracts. Fisher was able to obtain toner at no cost as part of these service contracts, according to officials.
