Screen Shot 2014-05-09 at 2.30.56 PMMINNEAPOLIS – (May 13, 2014) – Recently Canon filed suit in the U.S. against a number of companies, including Katun, asserting potential patent infringement of certain Canon patents, specifically as it relates to a “dongle-type rotating arm” (i.e., a coupling mechanism at the end of the drum).  Canon originally filed this suit in February of this year, naming 18 parties, and amended its filing May 7th, to now include 33 parties.
