HP has signed an agreement worth $305 million to manage California’s Welfare Client Data Systems.

The five-year agreement will see HP provide a suite of IT services for CalWORKS Information Network (CalWIN), which is an online automated platform which determines eligibility determination, benefit calculation and management systems for welfare applicants.

The system serves 485 sites across 18 California counties and is designed to increase staff productivity and efficiency to help improve the delivery of services.
