HP is set to expand its international large format and 3D printing centre in Sant Cugat (Barcelona), reports Cinco Dias, citing HP Iberia president Helena Herrero.

“Our commitment to this latest technology, which is set to reinvent design, prototyping and manufacturing… has resulted in these facilities becoming too small,” said Herrero. The Sant Cugat centre currently employs 1,700 professionals of 60 different nationalities and registers about 150 patents a year, with HP investing some EUR 60 million a year into the centre’s R&D.
