The Highcon Euclid II+ digital cutting and creasing solution, winner of the MustSee’Ems award in the Postpress and In-line Finishing category, and recipient of the 2015 InterTech Technology Award, is already installed in customer sites around the world. At Graph Expo Highcon will be highlighting customer experiences and the real life benefits of this digital solution.

Highcon Euclid II S

Following on the success of the Euclid II series, and with the growing demand to expand its capabilities to additional markets, Highcon is announcing the new Highcon Euclid II S machine, engineered to provide all the benefits of the existing line, compatible with half sheet / 29 inch printing format. This machine offers customers with a digital printing press a step into the high value digital finishing world, truly reaping the benefits of an end to end digital workflow. In addition, with an upgrade option to a full Highcon Euclid II or II+, the new machine will enable folding carton converters with large format analog printing equipment to move easily into the digital world.

Highcon Axis

To support its existing and future customer base Highcon will be demonstrating a new platform to streamline job submission and order flow to digital workflows – Highcon™ Axis. This new 2D to 3D platform will enable packaging converters to add online ordering capabilities to the services they offer. Highcon has collaborated with industry leaders XMPie and Esko to provide this best-of-breed solution which will be in beta testing at customer sites, Boutwell Owens & Co. Inc., in the USA and Glossop Cartons in the UK by the end of the year.

Peter Dahmen

Peter Dahmen, the well-known paper artist and thought leader, will be appearing live at the Highcon booth, sharing the secrets of his amazing popup designs and their application to real world packaging.

Visitors will be able to see and understand the potential of creating spectacular promotional items and display pop-ups, in a commercially feasible way.

Bill Lorenz, VP Operations at Highcon customer, Boutwell Owens, will also be at the booth, talking about how the installation of the Highcon Euclid has transformed and boosted their business.
