ENX/This Week in Imaging, a national trade publication that monitors and reports on the office technology industry and annually selects the USA’s top 50 dealers, named Applied Imaging to its Elite Dealer list for the fifth consecutive year. Companies are selected for the magazine’s highest honor by the publication’s writers, editors and management staff after being nominated by the industry’s manufacturers, suppliers, peers and other vendors.

Applied Imaging, Michigan’s premier office technology dealer, piled up a number of awards in 2015, including the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for ethics, Ricoh’s Service Excellence Award and both West Michigan’s Best and Brightest to Work For and Detroit Metro’s Best and Brightest to Work For. Criteria for being named an Elite Dealer goes beyond revenue and includes customer feedback, employee retention and satisfaction, innovative marketing programs, community support and more.

“Being selected for this prestigious industry award out of thousands of companies nationwide, is a tribute to everyone at Applied Imaging for their hard work, personal growth and dedication to our customers,” says John Lowery, Applied Imaging’s president and founder. “Our industry has seen dramatic changes recently with solutions such as managed print services and managed network services becoming critical to sustained revenue growth. Being an Elite Dealer for five straight years means Applied Imaging is not just keeping up, it recognizes and positions us as a leader in the office technology industry.”

Lowery founded Applied Imaging in 1987. From its roots in Grand Rapids, the company has grown to have 248 employees and offices in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Traverse City, Petoskey, Metropolitan Detroit (Novi), which was established in 2011, and most recently, Ann Arbor. Applied Imaging’s business includes the sales and service of copiers, printers, document storage and retrieval products, managed network services and software solutions that help customers be more productive and efficient when it comes to document workflow.
