Unite & Conquer at The Cannata Report’s 35th Anniversary Gala

Business and Imaging Technology Notables Featured in Online Celebration

Hamburg, NJ, September 30, 2020 – The Cannata Report will bring the imaging and business technology industry together with “Unite & Conquer,” its 35th Anniversary Awards and Charities Gala premiering on YouTube Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 pm EST/3:00 pm PST. Sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services and ConnectWise, the virtual event is raising funds for Hackensack Meridian Health’s Circle of Compassion program for frontline workers.

“We really wanted to do something different to spotlight our 35th Anniversary Gala, and the challenges COVID-19 presented this year ultimately inspired some engaging new elements,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO. “The most exciting thing for us is including dealer principals and next-generation leaders from all over the country in the event as presenters. Another substantial advantage is that this year, anyone and everyone from the industry can have a front-row seat to the celebration simply by watching the show broadcast on our YouTube channel.”

Presenters include Dawn Abbuhl of Repeat Business Systems, Eric Auman and Jennifer Amatucci of Hytec Dealer Systems, A.J. Baggott of RJ Young, Brantly Fowler of Zeno Office Solutions, Casey Lowery of Applied Imaging, Doug Pitassi of Pacific Office Automation, John Schweizer of ConnectWise, Edmund Sumner of SumnerOne, Dean Swenson of The Swenson Group, Adam Weiss and Luis Villa of Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office, and Preston and Hunter Woolfolk of DOCUmation.

CJ Cannata will host the event along with Frank G. Cannata, founder and editor-at-large, and Scott Cullen, editor-in- chief. The Cannata Report will pay tribute to Keith Allison, president and CEO of Systel Business Equipment, and bestow him with a Humanitarian of the Year award. Bob Goldberg, general counsel of the BTA, will once again serve as emcee.

The Frank Awards will be given in 12 categories, including Best Technical Service Provider, a new category for 2020. Nominees announced on September 21 include ACDI for PaperCut, All Covered, Canon U.S.A., Collabrance, ConnectWise, DLL, DocuWare, FMAudit, GreatAmerica Financial Services, Laserfiche, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Kyocera Document Solutions America, Lexmark, PrintFleet, Ricoh USA, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, Square 9 Softworks, Toshiba America Business Solutions, and US Bank.
