NORWALK, Conn., April 25, 2017 – In its continued effort to position channel partners for success, Xerox today is hosting 200 current and prospective partners in New York City to discuss the evolution of the workplace. The Xerox Future of Work Partner Forum is kicking off the company’s 2017 global series of information and education events for customers and channel partners.

At the Future of Work Partner Forum, partners will be introduced to new sales strategies aimed to grow their revenue and will get a first-hand look at the company’s newly launched Xerox ConnectKey® product portfolio that transforms traditional printing devices into smart, connected workplace assistants that reflect today’s business needs.

“Technology continues to shape and change our daily lives, in and out of the workplace,” said Darren Cassidy, president, U.S. Channels Unit, Xerox. “We’re adapting to those changes and bringing our channel partners solutions that will enhance mobility, security and customization so they can grow revenue and enter new markets.”

During the day-long conference being held at Manhattan’s Skylight Modern, partners will explore the capabilities of Xerox’s 29 new ConnectKey-enabled printers and multifunction devices. The new Xerox AltaLink® and Xerox VersaLink® lines make it possible for channel partners to maximize revenue opportunities by selling a full portfolio of workplace technologies – including high-end office multifunction printers, managed print services and workflow automation solutions.

While getting hands-on experience with the new devices – including learning how to create personalized apps and solutions for their customers – partners will meet and network with Xerox executives, industry thought leaders and other channel partners. Highlights include:

  • Peter Leyden Keynote: An innovator, entrepreneur and former managing editor of WIRED, Leyden will discuss the era of reinvention and the key trends shaping the future of work.
  • Xerox Partner Strategy: Mike Feldman, president, North America Operations, will explain what makes Xerox the partner of choice in driving business and fueling their growth.
  • Introducing Workplace Assistants: Partners will meet the new fleet of ConnectKey-enabled devices that share a similar interface to provide a common user experience. They will learn about the many features that make the platform customizable and more attractive to customers, profitable for partners and easier to sell.
  • Solutions Showcase: Partners will experience hands-on product demos, and participate in conversations on developing and selling powerful workplace productivity apps and selling managed print services.

“This conference demonstrates Xerox’s continued commitment to channel partners,” said Mark Elliott, president of Houston Tex.-based 3i International. “They’ve made their full line of office, light production, managed print services and workflow automation offerings available to partners—giving us the potential to open whole new markets—and now it’s time to exploit the opportunity.”

Xerox Productivity Packs available soon in North America

Another way Xerox is positioning partners for success is the introduction of its Productivity Packs for ConnectKey multifunction printers, available in the U.S. and Canada in May 2017. The Productivity Packs are pre-packaged, high value, turnkey apps designed to help channel partners capture revenue beyond hardware and supplies. Targeted at industries such as education, healthcare and finance, the apps eliminate manual, time-consuming and error-prone tasks by converting paper-based processes into automated digital workflows. Each Productivity Pack contains five workflow applications specific to that industry, so partners can dive into vertical market penetration without needing a software engineer and systems integrator to develop that workflow in-house.

A similar forum for Xerox pan-European channel partners also takes place today in London. Xerox Future of Work events for customers at-large will be taking place around the world for the balance of 2017.
