Konica Minolta’s High Velocity Dealer Summit took place last week in the sunny state of Florida, from February 12-14. The two-day event at the Westin Sarasota hosted 47 dealer partners and 20 Konica Minolta executives.

The executive team of Sam Errigo, Laura Blackmer, Michael Mathé, Dino Pagliarello, and Elisa Esposito, took to the stage to provide some color on recent earnings, a look at What’s Happenin’ at Konica Minolta right now and what’s coming down the road.

The summit was an immersive experience, showcasing new solutions that included cloud, AI, and IoT data as part of their digital transformation program. Between the product showcase, the breakout sessions, and the general sessions, the event was educational, offering dealer principals, sales, and service leaders a glimpse into vertical opportunities in healthcare, education, and the public sector.

Konica Minolta had product on display, showing how AI has been silently powering the brand’s offerings for years, making “the Invisible, Visible.” From production devices with AI-driven color management and media sensing to the advanced Mobotix and AIS Scanner, the message was clear: Konica Minolta is at the forefront of technological integration.

The summit also laid out the road ahead. A return to work signals a great opportunity, an invitation to embrace services, hardware, and monthly recurring revenue models. Even as the world deals with COVID’s aftermath and supply chain complexities, Konica Minolta is relocating its supply chain to mitigate future risk and volatility.

Looking to fiscal year 2024, the goals are ambitious yet attainable according to CEO Sam Errigo. Konica Minolta envisions a world-class Dealer Experience, fostering strong relationships, enhanced dealer benefits, and amplifying awareness of its vast capabilities. Communication is key, as is the development of dealer-specific training and sales enablement tools.

It had been a while since Konica Minolta’s last dealer meeting that included press and analysts and this update was greatly appreciated. It was great seeing the Konica Minolta dealers in attendance and we look forward to providing additional coverage as news becomes available.
