By Marcia Greenwood – It was late last week when Mother Paul Augustine of the Sacred Passion, prioress (or Mother Superior) of the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Rochester, realized she had a problem.

The Xerox printer at the sisters’ monastery on Jefferson Road across from Locust Hill Country Club was completely out of magenta ink and was dangerously low on black and cyan.
