San Francisco, CA – In a seasonal display of community and innovation,  Global Office Inc., renowned for their expertise in Canon and Brother technology solutions, hosted their annual holiday event, aptly named the “Global Office Future of San Francisco Holiday Gala”. This year’s event, once again held at the captivating Sens Restaurant with the San Francisco Bridge as its backdrop, drew an impressive crowd of nearly 300 industry professionals, a testament to the growing anticipation and prestige of this annual gathering.

Building on the foundations laid during the 2021 and 2022 events, this year’s gala theme, “The Inevitable Return of San Francisco”, resonated deeply with attendees, reflecting the resilient spirit of the city and its business community. A highlight of the evening was the insightful panel discussion moderated by Laura Waxmann of the SF Chronicle. Esteemed panelists from Advance SF, the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the Bay Area Council Economic Institute, and representatives from the City and County of San Francisco, along with a special appearance from Uber, delved into topics crucial for the city’s economic revival.

Franco Finn of the Golden State Warriors, serving as the evening’s emcee, added a dynamic flair to the event. His energy was particularly palpable during the panel, introducing participants like no one else could.

Canon USA once again sent executives to the Global Office Inc. gala and Karin Harrington and her team were happy to show their support for their reseller and San Francisco.

The evening also held a silent auction that successfully raised over $20,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco. This remarkable achievement highlights Global Office Inc.’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the next generation.

Anthony Bishop of Global Office told me how the print industry is the “canary in the mineshaft,” because print is a real indicator as to whether people are coming back to the offices. According to Anthony, he’s starting to see customer print numbers increase in San Francisco, indicating people are, indeed, slowly coming back to their offices.

As we move forward, the message is clear: San Francisco is poised for a remarkable comeback, with the office equipment industry playing a pivotal role in this resurgence.
