Konica Minolta and its partner Aurora reflect upon the success of The Print Show 2023

The Print Show is held annually at the NEC Birmingham and has become a key event in the UK print industry calendar since it was inaugurated in 2015. It not only attracts exhibits from the best and brightest providers in the print industry, along with the latest technology and innovations, but also attracts the commercial print visitors that make up the lifeblood of the industry.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd continues to proudly support the event, viewing it as a prime opportunity to not only showcase its professional print solutions and services, but also to meet commercial printers and to discuss their needs and to better understand what the market is demanding. This year, Konica Minolta was also joined by its partner Aurora, who exhibited Konica Minolta systems on their respective stand, ensuring visitors had plenty to explore during the three-day show.

“Customers have been able to get a good view of the Konica Minolta machines at this year’s show. We have been showcasing an AccurioPress C7090 along with an IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Care unit which has been a big pull for visitors being unique to the industry. We have been using it to print Aurora branded boxes on the stand to highlight the considerable capabilities of this configuration when used with a Duplo finisher. We have also been showing the powerful AccurioPro Flux Ultimate software as a full print room controller. This year’s event has had a great buzz amongst those exhibiting and visiting, and considerable interest from a high number of excellent sales leads.”

Along with displays and information on the Aurora stands, Konica Minolta’s own stand also included the AccurioShine 3600 (showcasing its ability to vividly bring prints to life), AccurioPress C14000e colour press (which is capable of printing at 140 pages/minute) and the powerful TU-510 inline finisher. Additionally, the Konica Minolta stand also featured representatives from Fiery, eProductivity Software (ePS), and Solimar Systems, each showcasing how they work in partnership with its print solutions.
Reflecting upon the whole event, Jon Hiscock, Head of Production & Industrial Print at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd stated: “The Print Show continues to grow and evolve, and this has been especially noticeable since the end of the pandemic, with this year being particularly busy and highly productive in the number and types of conversations we and our partners have had with visitors. Undoubtedly the print industry continues to face challenges, but it is evolving to meet these and to find the opportunities that are out there. Working with our partners we are proud to be showing the latest technology and encouraging everyone to see the potential.”
