MONROE, Louisiana – MOEbiz, a cornerstone of Monroe’s business community, marked a significant milestone this month as it celebrated its 100th anniversary. Rooted in family values and steered by three generations of the Breard family, MOEbiz stands as a testament to the longevity of family-owned businesses.

Founded in 1923 as Monroe Office Equipment by Armand V Breard, the business has undergone several evolutions, yet the core principles of dedication, quality service, and commitment to the Monroe community have remained unchanged. From Armand V Breard’s initial vision, it was passed down to Armand E Breard and now, under the leadership of Chap Breard, MOEbiz is not only thriving but also setting a standard for office equipment dealers.

In recognition of this monumental occasion, esteemed guests and industry leaders descended upon Monroe to join the celebrations. Among them were executives from Sharp and GreatAmerica, two titans in the office equipment industry. Also in attendance was Bob Goldberg, the BTA General Council.

Chap Breard, the current president of MOEbiz, graciously hosted a tour of their newly renovated facility. With its rustic decor exuding charm and elegance, it stood as a reflection of the company’s rich history blended with modern sensibilities. An outdoor area, thoughtfully designed for employees to relax and bond, emphasizes the company’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Jeff Ashida, the Chairman of Sharp USA, was present at the event, signifying a new chapter in the long-standing history of MOEbiz. MOEbiz is a proud dealer of Sharp products such as copiers, printers, interactive displays and more.
