Gold Sustainability Rating (EcoVadis)

KYOTO, JAPAN – September 21, 2023 – Kyocera Corporation (President: Hideo Tanimoto, hereinafter “Kyocera”) today announced that it has received a Gold Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis, a France-based international ESG rating organization, for the second consecutive year.

EcoVadis evaluates more than 100,000 companies operating in about 200 industries and more than 175 nations based on its own standards in four categories: environment; labor and human rights; ethics; and sustainable procurement. Gold rating indicates an awardee within the top 5% of eligible companies. Kyocera’s highest score was attained in the survey’s “Environment” category.
