1. Establish a mission statement

Your mission statement combines elements of your value proposition and your corporate vision. It clearly articulates the value you offer customers as well as your goals and provides a framework for aligning your team. What gap in the market is your product or service filling? Why would customers come to you to solve their problems? What sets you apart from your competitors? All of these are good questions to ask yourself when creating or reevaluating your mission statement.
