Scottsdale Arizona was the stage for Visual Edge IT’s annual kickoff conference, held from January 8th to 10th. This event for just over 200 sales and support professionals set the tone for 2024 as the team gathered for company news, strategy and to hear from partners. Visual Edge IT is one of the top Mega Dealers in the United States, potentially ranking within the top five in terms of annual revenue and their partners were all there to show their support.
Leading the charge was CEO Austin Vanchieri, whose passion was seen throughout the event. Visual Edge IT, known for their comprehensive portfolio encompassing office equipment, IT services, and unified communications, has carved a niche as the largest dealer for giants like Xerox and Kyocera in the U.S., and possibly beyond.
A highlight of the conference was the appearance of the president and CEO of Kyocera, Oscar Sanchez, reinforcing the strong ties between the companies. Xerox’s Don Sarvis, VP of US Channels, provided insights into the crucial nature of their partnership. These discussions not only underscored existing relationships but also hinted at strategic directions for the future. The event took an exciting turn when Mark Mathews and Joe Contreras from Epson announced a major shift – Epson products will now be sold across all 35+ VEIT locations, marking a significant expansion of Visual Edge IT’s offerings. The announcement that Epson would become one of the top brands for Visual Edge IT in the next three years underscores the strategic alignment, commitment and potential of this partnership.

Brian Frank, COO of Visual Edge IT, delivered a rousing speech, igniting enthusiasm among the attendees. Brian was the first dealer acquired by Austin in the building of Visual Edge IT, headquartered in Canton, OH. Chief Strategy Officer David Ramos, a central figure throughout the event, introduced the Epson program alongside Epson executives. The unveiling of this partnership was made even more memorable with a pre-recorded video featuring Shaquille O’Neal, official Epson spokesperson, welcoming Visual Edge IT to the Epson family.
Epson’s inkjet technology represents a pivot from the industry norm of laser MFPs. This strategic partnership with Visual Edge IT, given its size and the evident excitement from both the sales representatives and the executive team, signifies a substantial leap for Epson in the office equipment industry.
Another major announcement was the partnership between Visual Edge IT and The Pro Football Hall of Fame. This collab goes beyond typical branding; it’s a strategic alliance aimed at driving new business and achieving significant ROI over the next three years.

A major highlight of the event was the keynote speech from 4-star Admiral Michael Rogers. The Admiral spoke on topics ranging from cyber security to working for former US presidents. This portion of the conference was truly a treat for all attending.
Austin Vanchieri, in one of his presentations, highlighted Visual Edge IT’s modest year-over-year growth and the company’s momentum for further increases. His approach, much like a paternal figure, shows a deep connection with his team and his pride and enthusiasm were felt throughout the conference.
The event also featured breakout sessions and presentations in other areas, including one from leasing partner GreatAmerica, rounding out a comprehensive and informative agenda.
The program concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing the hard work and achievements of the most exceptional Visual Edge IT employees from across the country, followed by a celebratory evening of dinner and dancing.
