Shell has awarded a contract extension to HP to provide hardware and support for its IT infrastructure across its global business,

Under the renewed five-year agreement, HP will supply 150,000 products to the oil company, including HP PCs, tablets, printers, workstations, servers, storage and networking hardware. It will also provide IT integration and support services.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed. But the previous deal, signed with EDS before HP acquired the supplier, was worth £1 billion in 2008.
