RISO, Inc. is proud to have recently exhibited at the Association of University and College Printers (ACUP) 2018 Conference in beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This conference is the print industry’s premier event dedicated to the unique needs and demands of education-based in-plant printing facilities. The event took place at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino from April 29th – May 3rd with keynote speakers, break-out sessions and two days of vendor exhibitions.
As a featured gold level sponsor in booth #20, RISO, Inc. was delighted to host live demonstrations of the full-color, cut-sheet inkjet printer, the ComColor GD9630. Printing on both paper and envelopes, the GD9630 generated a great amount of interest with its affordable cost of color output.
On Monday, April 30th RISO Regional Sales Manager Bob Tatalovich held a 20 minute break-out session in which he addressed the impact of inkjet devices on today’s in-plant operations. Simply put, inkjet improves productivity, cuts costs, and expands on the service offerings of the print shop.
ACUP 2018 was yet another sign of the growing interest in Inkjet for the printshop. School districts, colleges and university in-plants are being asked to find alternative means to satisfy a demanding customer base. Inkjet provides the type of growth that in-plants can embrace.
