ROCHESTER, N.Y., October 17, 2023 — Kodak Alaris is one of multiple awardees that have been granted an Information Technology Umbrella Contract by the New York State Office of General Services. This contract certifies that Kodak Alaris is a vetted and state-approved information technology vendor which will allow Kodak Alaris to conduct business more easily with New York State agencies.

The Monroe County Department of Social Services relies on scanners from Kodak Alaris to digitize 1.8 million documents per year, and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles are also Kodak Alaris customers.

In addition, the Federal Agency Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) scanner bundles offered by Kodak Alaris were the first FADGI solutions to successfully pass the Keypoint Intelligence testing program. FADGI is a government effort to move away from paper records in favor of high-quality digital records, with a compliance deadline of June 30, 2024. After this date, some federal agencies will no longer accept paper documents for permanent archive.
