“Everything is done today. Booth construction is finished and the dining area is set up as well,” David Gibbons updated the preparation progress to RT Zhuhai office from Buenos Aires-based Hotel Palais Rouge.

In a matter of hours, the first stop of RT VIP Imaging Expo—Americas 2023 is about to kick off at the venue, receiving buyers from Argentina, as well as neighboring countries.

“The venue is closed now until 11 am tomorrow morning (local time). The exhibitors can enter at 11 am too,” Gibbons added. To assist Gustavo Molinatti, RT’s regional partner in LATAM, with the last preparation, Gibbons arrived in Buenos Aires last Friday.

In the meantime, a delegation of suppliers arrived in Buenos Aires, ready to meet buyers tomorrow morning.

The VIP expo will be held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on June 13-14, Sao Paulo (Brazil) on June 16-17, Bogota (Colombia) on June 20-21, and Mexico City (Mexico) on June 23 and 24, which has attracted more than 30 suppliers of copiers, printers, and toner and ink consumables from China and the Americas.

By June 7, 2023, the VIP expo has attracted more than 300 big buyers in Latin America to visit one of the four cities to meet with key suppliers.

“There are no precedents in the history of the LATAM printing aftermarket of having summoned so many big buyers participating in a regional event,” said Gustavo Molinatti, the LATAM-based partner for China-based Comexposium Recycling Times (C-RT), the organiser of the event.

The unique business event in Latin America will host an expo and gala dinner on Day One in each city, followed by private and confidential meetings between buyers and suppliers on Day Two.
