Sharp Electronics’ employee group Women Influencing Sharp’s Evolution (WISE) concluded a successful Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising campaign in support of The Valley Hospital Breast Cancer Program with a $5,000 check presentation to representatives from the hospital’s oncology department and Foundation.
Twenty-five treatment bags were also created for distribution to hospital chemotherapy patients.
“We are thrilled to see Sharp Electronics employees step forward once again to affirm their philanthropic support of breast cancer care at Valley,” said David Bohan, Vice President and Chief Development Officer, The Valley Hospital Foundation.
“This gift will help to offer patients a broad range of programs in health, wellness and survivorship.”
