Fairfield, NJ – Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is delighted to announce that it has been named a “Major Player” in sustainability by the International Data Corporation (IDC).
Hinonori Ando, President of Kyocera Document Solutions, Inc., is pleased to share that the organization has been named a “Major Player” in the “IDC MarketScape Worldwide Sustainability Programs and Services Hardcopy 2023 Vendor Assessment*1.”
In their report, the IDC, an IT research company, assessed the sustainability programs and services of 11 document solutions and equipment vendors, including Kyocera. The company analyzed each vendor’s corporate strategies, operations, products, and solutions to identify its leaders.
“This IDC MarketScape recognition for sustainability is hugely important for our organization,” says Óscar Sánchez, President & CEO of Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. “Staying true to the values of our founder, Dr. Kazuo Inamori, across decades, we have built a proud heritage of doing the right thing as a human being. Our ECOSYS range of energy-efficient printing devices, which dates back to 1992, is just one example of how we incorporate sustainability into our innovation.”
As environmental concerns continue to mount, sustainability is a pressing issue in today’s business landscape. In light of this, prospective clients can use the IDC’s report to select business partners with a proven history of implementing sustainable business practices and document solutions.
The report assessed Kyocera’s many years of environmentally friendly product design, in addition to how its enterprise content management (ECM) software, content services platform (CSP), and production printing solutions help businesses reduce their environmental impact.
It’s imperative for organizations to be sustainable.”
Kyocera has spent over 30 years working tirelessly to develop sustainable innovations that are equipped with long-life components, reducing the amount of technological waste that pollutes our environment.
Dedicated to sustainability long before it drew global attention, Kyocera also provides preventative maintenance through its fleet services*2, which reduce CO2 emissions caused by personnel traveling to repair machines.
Our document management systems, such as our ECM and CSP, also help to reduce the amount of paper used by companies and ensure lean printing and robust data security.
When it comes to the inkjet production printing space, Kyocera is striving to become a solutions partner that supports customers seeking a sustainable way to do business. One example of this is our water-based pigment inks, which are environmentally friendly and help businesses reduce their impact on the world around us.
As a customer-centric business that puts people and the planet first, we will continue to support our customers’ goals to implement sustainable business practices by innovating and proposing document solutions that help them reduce their environmental impact.
“With more and more customers judging businesses based on environmental, social, and governance factors, it’s imperative for organizations to be sustainable,” concludes Sánchez.
