By Mark Davis – HP recently announced the launch of its new Smart Tank 5000 series, the latest addition to its range of Smart Tank all-in-one products. Unlike other models in the range, the Smart Tank 5000 is designed to meet the needs of individuals or families in search of a smarter, more sustainable printing experience. The 5000 series is available in North America from HP or major retailers.

In addition to the Smart Tank 7000/7300/7600 and LaserJet Tank, the Smart Tank 5100 helps to complete the range in providing an entry-level option for individuals and home use. Despite being entry-level, the 5100 packs in key HP features such as connectivity to the Smart App; smart-guided buttons to help pre-empt everyday print, scan, and copy workflows; self-healing Wi-Fi to aid reliable connectivity and security; as well as low-on-ink sensors to protect the printheads.
