By Andy Slawetsky – Kyocera Corporation has agreed to a $49.9 million settlement with investors.
Kyocera was hit with the lawsuit by investors accusing the firm of a “squeeze out merger” with AVX.
AVX shareholders had filed a $1 billion class action suit against Kyocera.
AVX is a global manufacturer of electronic components. They were acquired by Kyocera in 2020. More on this story as it develops.
