Lexmark’s Perceptive Software is launching a cloud version of its flagship information management solution.

Perceptive Evolution is a scalable hybrid cloud-based platform that will enable SMBs to access content management solutions wherever they are.

It will cover all Perceptive product families, including enterprise content management, business process management, enterprise search and capture, and will adapt to a customer’s business needs.

Perceptive Evolution will work across devices and operating systems, including mobile, desktop and web, with a responsive interface so the experience of using all products under the Perceptive Evolution umbrella will remain the same.

The web-based Perceptive Cloud Share will be the first product to launch on the Evolution platform in May, allowing organisations to store, collaborate and share content in a controlled environment.

Scott Coons, president and CEO of Perceptive Software and vice president of Lexmark International, said the new cloud platform will address the consumerisation of IT, allowing for rapid development of industry solutions.
