  • Sharp Unveils First Japanese 5G Smartphone

Electronics maker Sharp has unveiled the first 5G smartphone made by a Japanese company. The model is due to go on sale in spring, coinciding with the roll-out of the nation’s next-generation high-speed wireless network.

Sharp says the new phone will be capable of downloading videos in seconds, instead of about 10 minutes.
