Toshiba America Business Solutions employees will welcome nearly 40 Patriot Pack riders and their supporters to the company’s Lake Forest, Calif. HQ on Monday, Sept. 15. Upon arriving in Lake Forest, Toshiba America Business Solutions President and Chief Executive Officer Larry White will present Patriot Pack Founder and U.S. Navy veteran Mike Stramaglio a $10,000 check supporting scholarships for U.S. military veterans.
The Patriot Pack – a group of office technology professionals – holds its annual motorcycle event in collaboration with the Business Technology Association, raising thousands of dollars for the Veteran Scholarship Fund.
Toshiba staff, along with Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing, plans to celebrate and refresh the motorcycle riders who are embarking on an eight-day, 1,525-mile trek to raise money for U.S. military veteran scholarships.
Last year’s Patriot Pack Ride generated more than $100,000 for scholarships providing educational funding for U.S. military veterans in the office technology industry, including their children and grandchildren.
Toshiba also supports the Defense Department Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program and Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). MSEP connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who commit to recruiting, hiring, promoting and retaining military spouses.
