Day 3 started kind of crazy with some nasty weather in OKC. We moved up the departure time and slipped through a window. After 20 minutes of heavy rain, the Patriots Pack and the Mars Rover managed to get ahead of the storm.
It was a nice ride after that highlighted by a stop at Toad Suck Harley Davidson where shirts were purchased by nearly all riders.
After checking into the hotel in Little Rock, The Pack saddled up in the RV and rode in style over to Barry Simon’s home (DataMax) for some Arkansas BBQ. That evening the Pack was joined by Jennie Fisher and Kim Louden of GreatAmerica as well as Patricia Ames of Workflow Magazine, who all rode in the RV and made sure the riders stayed fed and hydrated during the hot days.
Several pack members received their vests during this dinner (videos below), including BTA General Counsel Bob “The Judge” Goldberg.
