JIRAPAN BOONNOON – Samsung hopes to be generating 25-30 per cent of its revenue from business-to-business activity by 2020, compared with less than 10 per cent now.

David Song, senior vice president for printing solutions at Samsung Electronics, said the company aimed to focus on B2B as it was a growing market for its tablets, printing solutions, displays, medical devices, and smartphones. The company is also creating a new paradigm for cloud-based printing.

“We are already successful in the consumer market and we are moving forward and focusing on business to business. The firm expects to generate revenue from business to business at 25 per cent in 2020. We are now getting revenue from B2B at less than 10 per cent,” Song said.
