Albany based technology company enjoys continued growth beyond Tech Valley
11/02/15 – Albany, New York – NATIONAL Business Equipment is pleased to announce the acquisition of Lockrows Business and its Vermont division, Catamount Office Technologies to expand the reach of NATIONAL’s award winning line of office products and technology services throughout the North Country of New York and the state of Vermont with offices in Plattsburgh and Burlington.
Since 1927, NATIONAL Business Equipment has earned a pristine reputation for providing state-of-the-art office technology products and services backed by local service with a personal touch from employees who live and work throughout the Tech Valley. In 2008, NATIONAL was acquired by current President Scott Mueller, who has grown the company exponentially to become recognized on a national level by Kyocera Document Solutions for the company’s unprecedented commitment to customers, employees and the communities they serve.
Mueller grew up in Albany and attended SUNY Plattsburgh, where he played basketball and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. In 2012, Mueller was selected as the President of the Kyocera Dealer Advisory Council for the United States, a prestigious position that represents dealers across the United States. The company currently sponsors over 20 nonprofit and youth organizations.

Ryan has been a business leader with NATIONAL and brings his experience and customer centric approach from the Tech Valley region.
