ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 8— Last night, Kodak’s Christopher Payne, Director and Vice President Marketing, Commercial Imaging Business was inducted into the Soderstrom Society by the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL).  Payne was one of 15 industry luminaries to join the ranks of the exclusive and prestigious organization.

Named for the late Walter E. Soderstrom, one of the founders of NAPL, the Soderstrom Society is an honors organization that recognizes the contributions of industry leaders, including printing company owners, equipment manufacturers, educators, journalists, and consultants.

“This award is as much a recognition for Kodak as it is for me,” said Payne. “A tireless focus on our customers and what they need to accelerate their business is what has allowed us to create some of the most compelling technology in the industry. Their success will be how we measure our success. Thank you to the NAPL for this significant honor.”

Payne has served in a variety of executive capacities at Kodak since joining the organization in 1999. He also held executive marketing positions at Xeikon and Crossfield Electronics Ltd. Payne was educated in Scotland and graduated with top honors from Napier College in Edinburgh, where he studied Printing, Administration and Production.
