Applied Imaging, Michigan’s premier independent office solutions provider, has acquired Hasselbring- Clark of Lansing, MI. Effective immediately, the combined companies will operate under the Applied Imaging brand and management team. Applied Imaging will retain most of Hasselbring-Clark’s employees and move their Lansing office to Hasselbring-Clark’s S. Aurelius Road facility.
Hasselbring-Clark was founded in 1973 and authorized for the full line of Canon and Toshiba office equipment products. Applied Imaging was already Canon authorized and with the acquisition became authorized to sell and service Toshiba printers, copiers and multifunction products.
“Hasselbring-Clark has always been a terrific competitor and we’re very pleased to bring a great group of employees into the Applied Imaging family,” said Applied Imaging’s President, John Lowery, who was recently named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for the Michigan/Northern Ohio region. “Lansing is an important market to us due to it being our state capital and the home of Michigan State University. This acquisition reinforces our commitment to Ingham and the surrounding counties.”
Lowery founded Applied Imaging in 1987. From its roots in Grand Rapids, the company has grown to over 400 employees with offices in Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Lansing, Traverse City, Alpena, Novi, Ann Arbor, Clio, Troy and most recently, Toledo, Ohio. Applied Imaging’s business includes the sales and service of copiers, printers, document storage and retrieval products, managed network services and software solutions that help customers be more productive and efficient when it comes to document workflow. Manufacturers represented by Applied Imaging now include Ricoh, Canon, Kyocera, Océ, Samsung, OnBase, Microsoft, Toshiba and more.
