The Waste Management Open, dubbed the “Greatest Show on the Grass,” is held at the TPC in Scottsdale and draws nearly 500,000 spectators each year. As one of the first events on the PGA Tour calendar, the Waste Management Open kicks off the year with a bang! Unlike any other tournament in the world, spectators become central to the event – helping to transfer the 16th hole in the “The Coliseum” – and the loudest and most entertaining hole in golf!

The Waste Management Open was formerly known as the The Phoenix Open and the FBR Open. The Event has been hosted by the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course since 1987 and the tournament benefits The Phoenix Thunderbirds. This particular charity helps to generate millions of dollars in donations to the area’s most derserving organizations annually.
