Unity Printing And Ford Business Machines Jointly Acquire Family-Owned Stefano’s Printing

CONNELLSVILLE, PA (August 3, 2020) — On August 3, 2020, Unity Printing, a full service printing company in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and Ford Business Machines, western Pennsylvania’s largest independent dealer of copiers, printers, and office technology, announced the acquisition of family-owned Stefano’s Printing in Dunbar, Pennsylvania.

Patrick Stefano, Pennsylvania State Senator for the 32nd district and current owner of Stefano’s Printing, made the decision to focus on his public service and sell the company to the two locally owned businesses. Patrick stated, “The acquisition of Stefano’s Printing by two local and family-owned businesses will provide our customers the personal touch and working relationship that they are accustomed to. I trust both Unity Printing and Ford Business Machines implicitly with the company that my family has built for more than 60 years and I can think of no one better to turn the reigns over to.”

The transition will occur on August 1, 2020 as Unity Printing begins servicing Stefano’s Printing’s current customers and filling outstanding print and custom marketing orders. All customers may temporarily continue to utilize Stefano’s Printing contact information to place orders or check on the status of an existing order.

“Unity Printing is excited to expand further into Fayette County and continue to offer the same superior service,” remarked Lisa Frederick, President of Unity Printing. “Our team is prepared and excited to work with all of Stefano’s Printing’s customers!”

Ford Business Machines has acquired much of Stefano’s Printing’s equipment to begin the expansion of their marketing efforts and provide marketing as a service to their clients. In addition, Ford will provide support to Unity Printing by serving as a drop ship location for customers in the Fayette County area. Johnathan Garlow, President & CEO of Ford Business Machines, stated, “I’m proud to carry on the Stefano family legacy in the area in conjunction with Unity Printing. We are excited to build on their reputation and utilize their resources to grow our business in a new direction with the addition of marketing services.” Garlow went on to state, “We will also be working to partner with the local school STEM programs to integrate print into their curriculum and expose students to an aspect of the fields that they may not have considered. We are very excited for all the opportunities that lay ahead.”
