Asset Validation in Data Preparation Tab

Where validation rules have been implemented on fields within a project’s Icon Customisation, a new column in the Data Preparation tab will notify the user if any of the assets are in violation of these rules.

Any data fields for which there are validation violations can then be added into the Data Preparation tab where the data can be viewed, updated and rectified in one place. To further improve the data cleaning process, multiple assets can be updated at once.

Project Contacts

A new central repository has been created to house all contacts contained within a project. Within this repository, contacts can be created, edited and deleted. Users can then select from this list when assigning a contact to a Building.

In addition, new Contact fields are available for addition to Icon Customisations so Project Contacts can also now be added to assets.

Project Notifications

To help users get project updates the as soon as they happen, Project Notifications will inform the user about changes made to Cloud-synchronised projects by other users. So whether an update is made via WebSmart or by another user synchronising their project, an indication of those changes will appear within Asset DB within 5 minutes of the change. This will take the form of an eye symbol with a differing coloured pupil. Notifications can be enabled for all projects within your database that are synchronised to the Cloud.

Project Structure Import

To help streamline the project creation process even further, users can now create sites, buildings and floors via import of a CSV file or Excel workbook. A blank template can be exported to be completed and then reimported.
