HP had a booth at the BTA National Dealer Conference in Las Vegas in August where they talked to dealers about security as they continued their search for possible partners.

HP is making a big push as a clear leader in security through a massive marketing campaign aimed at educating customers on potential risks that unprotected and inferior security poses to end users.

 

I spoke with Mimi Everson of HP and she told me about a massive take-down that HP just got, all on the back of the security message. With all the threats customers are dealing with, choosing the printer company that makes you feel the most secure is often a no-brainer.
