Osaka, July 5 (Jiji Press)–Sharp Corp. will close its Katsuragi base in Nara Prefecture and Hirano base in Osaka Prefecture, both western Japan, within fiscal 2020, it was learned Friday.
The electronics maker will consolidate the functions of the two bases at its Yao base, also in Osaka. No employees will be dismissed.
