By Andy Slawetsky – BTA held their Gateway to Success conference in Austin TX and IBPI’s Marc Grice was there, meeting with dealers and vendors and taking some time to attend some of the presentations and panels during the two-day event.

The conference was held June 13 – 14 and with nearly 100 people in the room, dealers took part in interesting sessions on all kinds of relevant topics and also spent time networking with vendors and partners in-between speakers.

IBPI is the imaging industry’s largest buying group. For a small one-time fee, dealers sign-up and get to buy off the best pricing list from a number of vendors, some who they’re probably already doing business with.

At the end of the year, dealer members get an annual rebate check. Over time, the rebates will more than cover the initial sign-up fee. Signing up gets you best pricing and an annual rebate check. It seems like a no-brainer.
