She will play a key role in overseeing the company’s social media presence, as well as helping with collateral materials including flyers, internal communications, email blasts, and blogs.
Melanie Schmidt is a recent graduate of North Central College in Naperville, IL, where she earned a B.A. in Graphic Design. During her school years, she interned as a designer for a local engineering firm. She also enjoys calligraphy and hand lettering as a hobby, and maintains an Instagram account where she practices her craft.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, and has hiked through a few of the country’s National Parks.
SuperBowl Sunday of this past year will always be a special memory for her, as that is the day she became engaged. She and her fiancé, Jose Rojas, also from Elgin and also a graphic designer by trade, are planning a 2021 wedding.
