By Alexander Scheubner – Around 300 Authorized DocuWare Partners from the DACH and EMEA regions met up with sponsors and DocuWare experts to learn about the latest trends and new products, exchange information, and network across countries. The atmosphere among the participants was excellent. DocuWare‘s Partner conference has been a very popular event for years. This spring, Docuworld Europe, which was held in Portopedro on Mallorca’s east coast from April 4-6, met under the motto “Digital. Performance.” But what does this really mean?

In today’s world, not a single work day seems to go by without mention of this issue: digitalization. To keep pace with quickly evolving markets, companies of all sizes and industries are forced to work far more efficiently and cost-effectively – and by not doing so, they not only put their productivity on the line, but their very existence for the long term.

This is an opportunity that DocuWare would like to take advantage of along with its worldwide network of Authorized Partners. For nearly 30 years, the software company has been developing solutions that enable the simple switch from analog to digital work. Several decisions made by DocuWare with a view towards the future now underpin the company‘s steady growth.

Back in 2002, the DMS pioneer decided to build the next DocuWare version on the basis of highly scalable, multi-tiered architecture. Four years later came the transition to a purely browser-based client. This technological foresight set the course for the first SaaS offering in 2014. Today, DocuWare is a pioneer in this market segment. By the end of the first quarter of 2017, the company had 697 customers using DocuWare Cloud. In the first three months of this year alone, nearly every second new customer opted for a cloud solution.
